There might be nothing subtle about this but it gets the job done for you off the tee. I personally believe the technology in the hibore range is best suited to non-driver woods and hybrids. I love the XL.

This is one good driver. Well about metres on the fly is achievable with this beauty, so depending on fairway conditions you are considerably shortening holes. Old man clubs but just what I needed.

You still need to find a good wedge to use because this club only goes through sand wedge. However, I currently have a Taylor Made R I hit 12 balls each with a 6 iron and threw out the worst 4 shots. I won the thing in a church golf tourney, and since I got it at the beginning of the round, I played with it today. In our tests, the increased forgiveness was evident on off centre hits and the traditional design helps mask the size of the clubhead, which is large and deep.

Hopefully I can carry over the range success to the real thing — on the course! Very easy to hit and they look good, too. If finding fairways is your primary goal, the XLS does a good job of it once you find the groove. It was straight as an arrow too.
With free fairway wood offer at the moment it has to be clevrland sound buy! Im a strong guy so hitting long usually isnt a problem when I can hit but yesterday it was a breeze.
Simply put, Distance Driven Geometry moves weight low and back in the clubhead. I cleveand the XLS The drivers were tried on a computer setup that checked launch angle, spin, carry distance, and total distance.
Overall, the XLS only wants to go straight via a cut swing.
I have played two rounds with it already and it is a perfect fit for me. Brilliant club, good looks,sound and feel off face at impact. I purchased the Hi-Bore XLi’s and absolutely love them.
After a dozen more swings at the range and re-positioning myself, I started hitting consistent high and straight drives that truly felt effortless. I did open the club face on a couple of drives and sliced the ball, probably about 10 to 15 yds off the target, but that was user error and not the club.
I had played with steel sh afts for years in the Cleveland CG4 irons that I played prior to getting this set. Just picked one up and love it.
Every other club I own is a Nike model. I used to hit a hiblre cut with my nike sasquatch but now i hit a high draw 30 yards further this club.
